New Ulm Area Catholic Schools (NUACS) is a Catholic School owned and operated by the four corporate parishes that comprise the Holy Cross Area Faith Community: Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, Church of St. Mary, Church of St. John the Baptist, and Church of St. George. The mission of the New Ulm Area Catholic Schools is to form students in faith, knowledge, and service to become vibrant members of our Church and world.
The Board of Directors is the primary governing body of the New Ulm Area Catholic Schools. The Canonical Administrator of NUACS and the president of the school are ex-officio members of the board. Other board members are appointees of the pastor of the Holy Cross Area Faith Community .
The pastor of the Holy Cross Area Faith Community serve on the NUACS Advisory School Board, along with parish representatives from each corporate parish. The president, principals, are ex-officio members of the Advisory School Board.

Responsible for recommending candidates to serve as Principal to the Board of Directors
Oversees the elementary and high school principals
Serves as the school liaison to the Board of Directors
Shall have the final say in all matters related to the school, including personnel and student issues
The NUACS board of education meeting agendas, approved minutes, and supporting approved documents relating to the meetings are on file at the school and are available for review by contacting the elementary principal or the high school principal.
