Scrip is an excellent way to save money on your tuition! There are numerous places where you already spend money that offer Scrip. Simply stop by the St. Anthony Elementary, Cathedral High School, or Business Office to pick up your Scrip. Scrip can also be bought online or through the Raise Right app for spending on the go! You can buy e-gift cards and reloadable gift cards. It is a great way to budget your money too!
How it Works:
NUACS buys Scrip gift cards from national and local retailers at a discount.
Supporters buy Scrip gift cards at full face value. $25 cash buys $25 in Scrip gift cards.
Supporters then shop at participating local and national retailers and use the Scrip gift cards to pay for their purchases.
The difference between the discount and the face value is the profit realized by NUACS. 50% of that profit is applied to the family tuition account of your choice, and the remaining profit is donated to NUACS.
See the chart below for a list of gift cards that are typically on hand for purchase. Many additional gift cards are available for purchase online. To get started enroll today using the app (Raise Right) or online (Shop With Scrip).
Contact Elaine, Business Office, at 359-2839 for more information or for the school code needed to register for the first time.
The NUACS Annual Appeal was established in 1985 in an effort to create an additional source of income for New Ulm Area Catholic Schools. Due to his foresight and passion for Catholic education, the community of New Ulm and its youth have benefited for nearly 150 years. NUACS is grateful to all members, past, and present for their support of Catholic education in this beautiful city of New Ulm. We have raised an amazing $3,002,046 since the start of this annual drive.

Who receives scholarship money?
136 students received scholarship assistance during the 2022-2023 school year.
In 2022-2023, NUACS scholarship funds covered only 70% of the proven financial need.
How financial need is established and distributed:
An independent company, FAIR (Financial Aid Independent Review), determines necessity after families submit their applications.
Funds are then distributed from the NUACS Educational Trust Fund, NUACS Adopt-a-Student program, or parish scholarships to families who have displayed a need.
Why attending NUACS is important to families:
Faith is incorporated in everything we do.
13:1 student-to-teacher ratio average.
NUACS is fully accredited by the Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (MNSAA).
How you can help:
Remember the NUACS Educational Trust Fund with a gift in your will.
Set up a one-time gift or recurring gift online.

Leave a legacy to NUACS in your estate plan. Contact Sara Wilfahrt in the NUACS Development Office at 507-382-0605 for more information.
You can create a legacy that will make a difference in the world by remembering NUACS with a planned gift. Our tradition of excellence in education was built on the generosity of our alumni and friends who have gone before us.
Leaving a legacy - through a planned gift - will help ensure that a NUACS education is available for generations to come. There are so many families that have been positively impacted by NUACS. Your gift can make a lasting difference in the lives of both current students and future NUACS students and their families. NUACS is a place where your legacy gift can support the students and programs you value most.
The NUACS Golden Circle was created as an opportunity for the school to show appreciation to supporters who have named NUACS as a benefactor in a Will, Charitable Gift Annuity, Living Trust, Life Insurance Policy, or through any method of planned giving.
NUACS has received 48 Estate gifts since 1990. Each has made a lasting impact on the ongoing operations at NUACS. There are currently 31 living members of the NUACS Golden Circle.
If you qualify as a member of this group, please notify the NUACS Development Office so that you can be recognized at the annual “NUACS Golden Circle Mass and Luncheon” that is held in honor of NUACS Golden Circle members.
For more information on the NUACS Golden Circle, please contact Sara Wilfahrt, Development Director, at 507-382-0605.
Student involvement in athletics and activities is an essential element to developing well-rounded adults who will benefit their communities. Not only do students get the opportunity to showcase their abilities, but also they learn traits such as teamwork, punctuality, commitment, discipline, and dedication.
A remarkable 92% of Cathedral High School students in grades 7-12 participate in activities at school. New Ulm Area Catholic Schools would like to extend the opportunity to your business to advertise in the programs distributed this year at athletic events. Your business’ advertisement or coupon will appear in the programs for football, volleyball, and girls’ and boys’ basketball.
Our events are highly attended by family members, including parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, and uncles. We also have a strong following from the greater New Ulm community.
All advertising dollars will go directly to the Activities Department. Your support is greatly appreciated by all! Space is limited, and ads will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, so return your form today!
