Sophomore Physical Education
Required: ½ credit 
The Physical Education courses are designed to teach, enhance, improve, and refine each student’s level of performance.  The respect for each individual’s skill potential is emphasized through various team, individual, and dual activities.  The basis of the course is to develop the “total” person.  In addition, an emphasis is placed on developing and encouraging a healthy attitude toward and an appreciation for physical activity.  A key factor in this development is the responsibility of the individual to develop and enhance the whole idea of wellness.
