Cathedral High School
Educating our students in a Christian environment and teaching the Catholic faith are the main goals of New Ulm Area Catholic Schools.
Cathedral High School serves approximately 200 students in grades 9-12. The building is part of the New Ulm Area Catholic Schools campus, which also includes St. Anthony Elementary School, Holy Trinity Middle School, and Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Church.
Students at Cathedral High School are challenged by a strong academic curriculum, which allows students a high level of success in college. Since the year 2000, over 95% of Cathedral graduates have chosen to further their education in college. Cathedral offers students a wide variety of courses to choose from that make well-rounded graduates. We are an educational home for a wide spectrum of academic ability and strive to pull each student up to his or her full potential.
Nine sports are offered at CHS, including volleyball, football, girls basketball, boys basketball, dance team, softball, baseball, girls golf, and boys golf. There are also ten sports offered cooperatively with the local public school. Other activities offered at Cathedral include: Art Council, yearbook, fall dance, Fellowship of Catholic Students, Knowledge Bowl, Science Bowl, school play or musical, speech, Spanish Club, and journalism.
